The Leonia Chamber Musicians will present their final concert of the 35th season on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 7:30 pm in the All Saints Episcopal Church, 150 Park Avenue in Leonia,NJ
The program will include music of Mendelssohn (in honor of his 200th birthday), Danzi, Mozart, Saint-Saens and New Jersey composer Monte Morgenstern.
The professional musicians all live in Leonia and work in the most prestigious ensembles and venues in New York City including American Ballet Theater, Metropolitan Opera and Mostly Mozart Orchestra.
Performers include Daryl Goldberg, Cello, Marsha Heller, Oboe, Theresa Norris, Flute, William Scribner, Bassoon, and guests Michele Baker, French Horn; Mitchell Kriegler, Clarinet and Irina Morozova, Piano.
