My exposure to Dr. Payne and ANE has brought me front and center to deeply held belief that success in business and being a spiritual person in my case, a Christian, was not necessarily an oxymoron.

Dr. Stephen Payne, with his leadership skills and magnetic persona, connected for the very first time at the bagel emporium aptly named "Einstein's" September  "07.  We each had a Spiritual Dream and almost instanly collaborated to help one another.  Mine was to more parochial centered around Commuinty of Faith and focused on men exclusively while his was to introducing "Spirituality into the Workplace".  Our goals were as compatible as peanut butter and jelly.

Bottom Line, Dr. Payne and ANE have helped me immeasurably with the following"

1. EXPOSED situations where spiritual leadership behavior was identifed and practiced
2. PROVIDED verbal and physical antidotes for reversing/handling difficult issues
3. PROMOTED reliance on God and Prayer as the singular best resouce for strength and guidance
4. CREATED a Forum where business persons could freeely admit, discuss and collaborate on business induced problems, challenges and frustrations.
5. INDENTIFED a cadre of business professionals who were open to listening and having dialogue on Spiritual solutions to secular problems encountered in a business environment.
6. APPLIED proven leadership skills wrapped in the mantle of Spirituality,compassion and respect.

In Closing Dr. Payne, Jim Wood and the ANE Staff showed me how to break through cultural and secular barriers and to help other people regardless of their Faith-status that spirituality on the job WORKS.  As it is says in Ephesians 5'27 wtih the Apostle Paul speaking "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs that it may benefit those who listien:
