Spiritually intentional leaders have a faith that really works. More than belief, we make the decision to get our faith involved in the practical ups and downs of leading so that better outcomes are achieved for all. Growing together in how we do this is the purpose of ANE.
Sharing our belief in our greater purpose for working is one of the most sustaining practices we can learn. It builds a deep sense of alignment within everyone. It sounds easy to do, but it's not. It can be a battlefield between the self-will (what I want) and the greater purpose (how we better serve others.) It means aligning our own needs with making the world better for people.
Take time this week to ask: Beyond our goals, do you feel we are achieving all we can for people?
Aligning means letting go and reminding ourselves of our higher calling: My greater purpose is to bring more life-givingness and goodness to the world. From my spiritual center I choose to know the greater will for my journey. I am a leader who builds unity and trust by looking beyond the goals we set.
