The desire for resources to produce more can be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it can come from a positive creative urge to improve, and, on the other, it can be the cry of someone struggling to make best use of what exists already. The ANE leader's job is to look deeper to find the most productive balance.
"Do you believe we could be doing more to improve our situation?"
Productivity is not just about delivering more. It means making best use of all the resources available, not just spending wisely and motivating people, but also bringing the power of essential core, the spiritual center, of each person into the mix, too. Successful leadership and followership are a journey of co-creation where deep spiritual qualities like faith, trust, hope, and loyalty always play the lead roles.
Productivity means trusting: I will find the greatest good in every circumstance on my pathway. Everything we need to improve will be within our reach. There will be no shortcuts or points of weakness. Everything and everybody I lead give their best and grow.
