This is a retreat for musicians and lovers of music. The act of playing music is to step outside of one's limited self. In this retreat Fr. Cyprian and Gitanjali will explore music as a vehicle into the spiritual, and how music can transfigure our mundane experience into the realms of light and glory. Gitanjali Rivera, who will be presenting with Fr. Cyprian, is a long time student of Pir Shabda Khan, in the Sufi lineage of the Indian musician and mystic Hazrat Inyat Khan.
