Scrub: To remove impurities (as in facial or body scrub)
Not polishing your CV but scrubbing it. If you take out the impurities in the work history you present to people, often caused by CV polishing, what are you left with? The real truth of who you are becoming.
Today, try this quick spiritual scrub exercise with your CV. It will make your week go so much better. You may also discover the right job or career direction for you.
Start with the list of job experiences on your CV. For each one, answer this question: What were the most joyful things about that job? Think in terms of experiences and relationships and note them down. When you've been through each job or role, you should be left with a nice list of joyful things throughout your career.
Look at your list and find the common themes about your enjoyment at work. Make a mental note to do some of them this week.
Joy is the outward manifestation of the fully spiritually connected leader. Why would any of us not want to claim all the joy we can in our present and future work?
Put this thought into your career plan! The gateway to more responsibility lies on the pathway of joy and fulfillment. Shouldn't your CV reflect that.
