I attended a college reunion this weekend, not my own college reunion, but one where I now work. While many elements of the weekend were probably very similar to other college reunions held around the country: group activities, too much food, the continual sound of old friends greeting and embracing each other, and the inevitable reassurance - or otherwise - gained from comparing one's physical appearance to those of others from the same class.
The reunion I attended was different in one very special way: the Holy Spirit was present. I know, because every time I asked for guidance, I was led to a better outcome than I could possible have imagined. I was led to meet and talk with people who are questioning and seeking connection with God, and during the course of the weekend, we discussed many different ways to strengthen this connection.
Actually the Holy Spirit is always present, if we would only remember to tune into our inner core and allow ourselves to trust the "knower" we have inside.
What can help us do this during the working day? What are the triggers, the engagers, we can use to remind ourselves to tune in, to surrender to our inner core where the Holy Spirit resides? Join us at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning to learn more and to share your engagers.
