“You have heard it said, “Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.” “But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” (Mathew 5:43,44)
“Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Luke 18:14)
Leadership is hard. Leading others is hard and being led is hard. Many with intrinsic leadership capabilities are never given the chance to lead, while others with minimal skills are elevated into positions of great leadership. In business many market changes, employee distractions, significant growth/contraction, and a myriad of pressures effect leadership significantly.
How do you tolerate Leadership that is not working? Do you push to influence recognition and resolution; or is apathy your coping mechanism? A dramatic change in leadership personnel or delivery rarely happens on your time schedule, so how do you handle it? But when it does come, are you the first to echo that memorable tune from The Wizard of Oz, “Ding, dong, the witch is dead?”
“Calm, Confident, and Connected” or are there other words to describe a vindication response? Please join the call on Wednesday, October 28 at 9:00 a.m. DST.
