Join the City Year New York Associate Board for an evening to benefit City Year's work in New York City's public schools.� City Year is an AmeriCorps program that�unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service, giving them the skills and opportunities to change the world.� Numerous Yale alumni have taken part in City Year since its founding in 1988 in Boston; the program now has 17 sites in the U.S. and one in South Africa.� City Year New York was established in 2003�to harness the rise of social concern and �volunteerism in the wake of 9/11.
