You're not under too much pressure. You're not stretched far too thin.
You are simply letting your inner core, your spiritual center, be more determined by outer than inner forces.
"A new CEO has swept into our business," said Sales Manager Vlad. "In order to make a strong impression, he's insisted on this long list of requirements. Most of them don't make any sense to me and my team. Yet we're working round the clock to deliver what he wants. Trouble is, we've taken our eye completely off the customer."
Seeing one's pathway solely determined by external forces can lead to disaster.
"Vlad, your inner attitude is so dependent on the new CEO that you could fail. Is that what he wants? All the emails, the requests for information, the market data, are an expression of the desires of other people. Blind acceptance, without inner balance, is not leadership. It shows your team that the deeper perspective from their inner cores has no value, when in fact it is everything."
This week, teach self-recognition not self-sacrifice. Start with yourself. Then everybody will improve when you help them find more of their inner core connection.
