"What's the fruit of engaging your spiritual inner core at work?" I asked Sharon, who runs a small business.
"Two things'" she said. "First, my positive feelings. After I calibrate my spiritual core or meditate for a moment, I get this deeper desire to support people. I'm more open to the team's ideas. Better pathways always open up. Second, I see better results because we operate this way."
"Being more spiritual always leads to better results then," I asserted.
"Don't talk nuts," she countered. "There's hard leadership work between feeling positive and getting things achieved. But the chance of success is far greater with my inner core fruit involved. Leadership is hard work. Nothing is ever guaranteed."
