Most of us keep our spiritual house in order at work. We prefer to feel calm, confident and connected at our inner core rather than the opposite. But there's a limit - a pressure threshold - that when crossed takes us into negative thinking patterns that rob of us of satisfaction and diminish our effectiveness. It happens to us all. The way we get back across the threshold shows the world the kind of leader we are. Here's a true story from one of our members.
"Yesterday I came across one of my senior staff looking stressed out. He has a lot on his plate. His team had a big presentation to make. He has a newborn son and his MBA thesis is due. As we chatted I shared with him what I do to stay calm, confident and connected at my inner core. He liked it a lot. This morning he gave us a great presentation. He told me afterward that last night he shared our conversation with his wife. I could see it in his eyes - he got back in his zone."
Do you believe you should help people you work with keep their spiritual houses in order? If you do, there is something you should know. It starts with you keeping yours in order. A New Equilibrium exists to help you safely learn these new kinds of management skills that we call Spiritual Engagement - consciously managing your inner core for the benefit of yourself and those you work with.
The outcome? Demonstrably better results in your job and certain satisfaction from a spiritual house in order.
