"Every thought has a consequence. And every experience has a causative thought behind it. Thoughts are things, and all things in one's life have a thought that precedes them."
Ernest Holmes
I observe my thoughts run in waves, sometimes crashing on the rocks and other times peacefully rambling down the stream.
We are in a constant state of thinking, I can change my thoughts, but I can’t stop thinking. So the question I pose; am I being controlled by my thoughts, or am I controlling my thoughts?
Before I do I ask myself:
This last year has been full of challenges and sometimes finds my thinking moving in the wrong direction out of fear or discouragement. So I call my ANE partner, who has been my beacon of hope, light and meets every criterion I need for open, honest, fearless feedback. Our fellowship has grown over the years because of the shared commitment to Spiritual Self Leadership. In that commitment I have found renewed hope, certainty and knowledge that we need not be on the journey alone.
How is your thinking lately? Try this feedback exercise with a partner. Share 1 or 2 of your goals, allow your partner to provide feedback, is it resonating with your Core or resisting. To stay open, we need constructive feedback as well as validating your connection and beliefs in your Core Goals.
SHARE your results or thoughts during the NEW ANE Wednesday morning virtual coffee chat “ANE Inspired 30”. We’re making it easier than ever to stay connected, invite a friend or three.
