Most religious services begin with a warm welcome (not--we haven’t seen you since Easter), some acknowledgment of mistakes, an absolution, ”let's move forward,” some Good News (scripture or message), and encouragement to do your best.  Songs, relationships, prayers and faith shed light on God. Great leaders welcome, encourage, hold accountable, and inspire others with all they do.

So pass out a few more hand shakes, pats on the back, say hello more often, and drop an unexpected text/note to those around you.

God does it every moment, if we stop long enough to see it.
