Here's how to set up a development environment on http://sb.massmind.com. These steps are similar to what you would do locally as well.

1. Create a database on irisdev
2. telnet to irisdev
3. cd to public_html
4. Create a directory with the developer's name (we'll use laura as an example)
5. cd laura
